The White House and U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will help launch “Digital Promise” on Friday at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building at 10 a.m. “Digital Promise” is a new national center created by Congress to advance breakthrough technologies that can help transform teaching and learning.
The Initiative will build on the themes of innovation and entrepreneurship in President Obama’s Joint Session speech. During the launch, the Administration will announce new initiatives to spur R&D and private-sector investment in learning technology and address barriers to entrepreneurial success.
