White House Domestic Policy Council Director Barnes and U.S. Education Secretary Duncan to Hold National Press Call on the Role of Education in the American Jobs Act

Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council Melody Barnes and U.S Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will host a national press call today on investments in education proposed by President Obama through the American Jobs Act. Barnes and Duncan will discuss the importance of keeping teachers in the classroom and investing in school renovation and modernization in order to provide students with a 21st century education and help restore the U.S. economy.
