WASHINGTON, DC – On Friday, January 13, Vice President Joe Biden and Deputy Secretary of Education Tony Miller will visit Central Bucks High School West in Doylestown, Pennsylvania to discuss college affordability.

Since the members of Central Bucks High School West’s senior class were born, average published tuition and fees at public four-year colleges have tripled. 70% of Pennsylvania college students take out loans to pay for school and these students graduate with an average debt of over $28,000.

The Vice President will discuss the importance of college and the steps the Administration has taken to keep college affordable in Pennsylvania and across the country. He will also call on colleges and universities to do their part to contain costs and ensure college remains within reach for the middle class.

This event will be open press. Media details are below.
