U.S. Under Secretary of Education Martha Kanter will discuss the Obama Administration’s initiatives to increase college access, affordability, quality and completion for all learners in keynote remarks at a Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) policy forum on college completion on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Md. The forum is titled, “Forging Ahead with a P-20 Perspective.” Kanter will highlight the role that Department programs play in helping all students to fulfill their college and career aspirations.
The forum will allow a broad array of stakeholders from around the country to share best practices and learn from experts in the field. The speakers will share their best thinking on how to promote college completion with key higher education and K-12 administrators, policy makers, faculty members, and business leaders from Maryland.
