U.S. Under Secretary of Education Martha Kanter will be the featured speaker at a discussion on open educational resources on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m. ET in Washington, D.C. More than 100 representatives from the higher education community are expected to attend the discussion, sponsored by the Center for American Progress and the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning.
Kanter will discuss the administration’s position on open educational resources in higher education and its tremendous potential for advancing access, acceleration and personal learning, and college affordability.
