U.S. Education Senior Advisor to Address Conference in Las Vegas

U.S. Education Department Senior Advisor Jo Anderson will address the 85th Annual Conference of the California School Employees Association Wednesday at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel in Las Vegas.

Anderson will discuss the Education Department's agenda for reform and the importance of labor-management collaboration to implement that agenda. As senior advisor to U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, Anderson works on a variety of issues including teacher outreach and relations. He is a former executive director of the Illinois Education Association-NEA and the Consortium for Educational Change.

The California School Employees Association is the largest classified school employees union in America, representing more than 210,000 school support staff throughout California.
