U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will join Gov. Deval Patrick and Massachusetts Education Secretary Paul Reville for a press call to promote Massachusetts’ Race to the Top work over the last year and to discuss the need for continued education support through the American Jobs Act.
During the call, Duncan, Patrick and Reville will give brief remarks highlighting how Massachusetts’ efforts through Race to the Top have helped lay the foundation for education reform throughout the state. The three also will address how the American Jobs Act will help further support education in Massachusetts and across the country.
