U.S. Deputy Education Secretary Tony Miller to Discuss Education and the Economy at the Economist's "Ideas Economy: Human Potential 2012" Event in New York City

U.S. Deputy Secretary of Education Tony Miller will discuss education and the economy at The Economist's third annual "Ideas Economy: Human Potential 2012" conference on Thursday, Sept. 27 at the National Museum of the American Indian in New York City. The event will focus on how disruptive innovation and socioeconomic change are reshaping the world of work.

Through a variety of formats, a number of issues will be explored at the event, including: change as the price of improved productivity; innovation; how to cope with the social and psychological impacts of innovation; and how to strike a sustainable balance between work and life.
