Chief of Staff Joanne Weiss will participate in a panel discussion at the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) Legislative Summit Tuesday, Aug. 9, in San Antonio, Texas. During the session, “Collaborative School Reform: Building Partners for School Improvement,” Weiss will discuss the federal government’s role in building partnerships with states to drive school improvement. The four-day summit, which begins today and runs through Thursday, Aug. 11, will bring together legislators, legislative staff and policy experts from across the country.
The NCSL is a bipartisan organization founded to improve the quality and effectiveness of state legislatures and to promote policy innovation and communication among them.
