Johan Uvin, deputy assistant secretary for vocational and adult education, will deliver remarks at the policy day opening session of National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity’s 2012 Professional Development Institute. Uvin will highlight the Administration’s efforts to strengthen career and technical education, particularly the work that the Office of Vocational and Adult Education is doing to ensure the access and success of special populations.
The session will be at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18, in the Washington Ballroom at the Doubletree Crystal City Hotel in Arlington, Va. The event is part of a four-day NAPE conference themed “Access, Equity, and Diversity: We Have An App for That!”
