Rosemarie Nassif, special advisor at the U.S. Department of Education, will address graduates of the Missouri Academy at their commencement ceremony at 1:00 p.m., CT on Saturday, May 26, in Maryville, Mo. Nassif will commend the graduates of this unique educational program and encourage them to use their gifts to make a meaningful contribution to our nation and global society. Students enrolled in the Missouri Academy are highly talented high school juniors and seniors majoring in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields who take classes at Northwest Missouri State and go on to earn both a high school diploma and associate of science degree, which certifies them as completing their first two years of college.
