David Bergeron, ED's acting assistant secretary for Postsecondary Education, will make brief remarks and participate on a panel at the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) briefing on their new report, The Changing Teacher Preparation Profession: A Report from AACTE's Professional Education Data System, at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.The panel discussion will be followed by a Q & A session with the audience.
The report, which is based on longitudinal data collected from over 800 institutions of higher education with teacher preparation programs, will highlight both progress and challenges facing the teacher preparation profession.
