U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will visit New Orleans, La., on Tuesday to meet with local leaders and discuss the progress of education reform. Duncan will tour classrooms at George Washington Carver High School at 11 a.m. with Louisiana Recovery School District Deputy Superintendent DeLano Ford, Louisiana Recovery School District Chief of Staff Nash Crews and George Washington Carver High School Principal Isaac Pollack. The school tour will be followed by a closed-door roundtable discussion. Duncan will host a press availability at the school following the conversation.
