Deb Delisle, assistant secretary of the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education, will speak at the Strive Cradle to Career Network Convening on education and jobs at the noon panel on Thursday, September 27 at Frontier Airlines Center in Milwaukee, Wis. She will participate in a facilitated conversation on how public and private partnerships can drive greater investment and increase impact on education.
The event brings together more than 70 communities from around the country and abroad to learn how to build a “cradle to career civic infrastructure” more efficiently and effectively. In attendance will be Strive Cradle to Career Network members from non-profit organizations, social service agencies, foundations, schools and businesses.
The Strive Network’s Cradle to Career approach expands across 27 states and the District of Columbia. The national network enables members to share expertise, identify and adapt effective programs and develop tools and resources that can be implemented in the face of specific challenges.
