On Tuesday, Aug. 2, the executive director of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Reach Higher Initiative, Eric Waldo, will give remarks at the Midwest Reach Higher convening, “Improving College and Career Readiness: Strengthening School Counseling and College Advising,” at Michigan State University, in East Lansing, Michigan.
The Michigan convening, in partnership with the Michigan College Access Network, will gather stakeholders from Midwestern states to share strategies on improving college and career readiness, school counseling and college advising. Waldo will discuss the vital role of school counselors in helping all students reach their fullest potential.
The nationwide convening series energizes and equips Reach Higher state teams as they execute their college and career-readiness strategies.
