MIAMI – Senior Obama Administration officials from the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics and the U.S. Department of Education will release a report on education and Hispanics on Wednesday at a meeting with dozens of educators and community leaders at Miami Dade College. The Hispanic community is key to meeting the President’s goal for the nation to have the best-educated workforce and the highest proportion of college graduates in the world by 2020.
President Obama will deliver the commencement address at Miami Dade College on Friday, where he will discuss the importance of making key investments to out-innovate, out-educate and out-build the rest of the world.
