White House Hispanic Initiative to Discuss Innovative Education Pilot Program in New York on Friday

QUEENS, N.Y. – White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics Director Juan Sepúlveda and Deputy Director JoséRico will join State Assemblyman Francisco Moya of New York District 39 and local education and community leaders in Queens on Friday. The visit is the first to the Queens neighborhood of Corona by senior administration officials to discuss an innovative research pilot program focused on improving education attainment levels for Hispanic students who comprise the largest minority group in the nation’s public schools.
