White House Domestic Policy Council's Steve Robinson and US Department of Education's Michael Lach to Address National Science Teachers Association's K-12 STEM Education Policy Conference

Steve Robinson, special assistant for the White House Domestic Policy Council, and Michael Lach, special assistant for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Education at the U.S. Education Department, will give remarks at the National Science Teachers Association's K-12 STEM Education Policy Conference in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, July 12. Robinson and Lach will address the session “From The Inside Looking Out: Federal Education Initiatives that Target Education Reform and Success,” highlighting the Obama Administration’s efforts to promote STEM education nationwide. Following remarks, Robinson and Lach will field questions from conference participants.

Hosted by the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), the two-day conference will convene more than 220 STEM educators and professionals, school administrators, researchers, and instructional material providers to discuss STEM initiatives, legislation, and the future of STEM education policy in America.
