Under Secretary Martha Kanter to Address "Access to Success" Annual Meeting

U.S. Under Secretary of Education Martha Kanter will address the annual meeting of the National Association of System Heads (NASH) and the Education Trust joint initiative, “Access to Success,” at 12:45 p.m. EDT on Thursday, May 5, in Washington, D.C. The Access to Success Initiative is a commitment by 20 public university systems to cut attainment gaps in half through better use of data, academic interventions, and best practices. Kanter will discuss the department’s partnership efforts with state systems of higher education to close college completion gaps for minority and low-income students and advance the President’s goal for America to once again lead the world in college graduates by 2020. Kanter will take questions from the audience following her remarks.
