U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will visit Streamwood High School in Streamwood, Ill., on Wednesday, May 15, where he will tour classrooms and host a roundtable discussion on successful labor-management collaboration.
Streamwood has an enrollment of about 2336 ninth through 12th-grade students, and strives to fulfill its mission of equipping each student with the knowledge and skills necessary to enter a two or four year post-secondary institution, without taking remedial classes, or enter the workplace fully prepared for the job at hand.
