U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will deliver remarks at the closing luncheon of the National Association of State Boards of Education (NASBE) Legislative Policy Forum on Friday, March 14 at noon in Arlington, Va. Duncan will discuss the president’s education priorities: expanding access to high-quality preschool; extending ESEA flexibility; expanding broadband access in schools through the ConnectEd initiative; and providing funding for professional development for teachers. He will take questions from the audience after his remarks.

The conference gives NASBE members the opportunity to engage with members of Congress, U.S. Department of Education senior officials, and other prominent national education community stakeholders concerning current federal legislative and regulatory activities.
