U.S. Under Secretary of Education Martha Kanter will address leaders from postsecondary institutions across the nation at the 24th annual National Conference on Race & Ethnicity in American Higher Education (NCORE) at 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1. The University of Oklahoma is hosting this year's conference at the Moscone South Convention Center in San Francisco, Calif. In her remarks, Kanter will discuss the President's goal for America to lead the world in college graduates by the end of the decade.
The event will bring together senior administrative officers, faculty, staff and representatives from a variety of campus activity and service areas at schools across the country. Representatives from civil rights offices, state and national advocacy groups, and student organizations will also be in attendance.
