U.S. Education Under Secretary Ted Mitchell to Give Remarks at the National Foundation for Credit Counseling Connect Conference in Arlington, Virginia

U.S. Under Secretary of Education Ted Mitchell will speak at the National Foundation for Credit Counseling Connect (NFCC Connect) conference in Arlington, Virginia at 9:45 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Mitchell will discuss the Obama Administration's efforts to improve student borrower education, loan servicing reform, support for counseling and the role of financial aid officers in meeting these goals.

The NFCC Connect conference brings together more than 200 national leaders and stakeholders from financial education and credit counseling industry. Agency executives, financial counselors and practitioners will hear from industry leaders addressing the many pressing sector issues confronting consumers including student loans, retirement, housing and compliance and the state of the financial services industry.
