U.S. Under Secretary of Education Ted Mitchell will speak at the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) National Conference in Washington, D.C. at 3:45 p.m. ET on Tuesday, July 12.
Mitchell will discuss the Obama Administration's efforts to improve access, affordability and outcomes in post-secondary education and the role of financial aid officers in meeting these goals.
The NASFAA conference brings together more than 2,500 financial aid professionals from across the country to teach, learn, network, and share best practices. The conference provides valuable up-to-date information on the student aid programs from financial aid veterans, as well as provides a unique training and professional development opportunity that will help equip student aid professionals with the tools they need to better serve students and families.
