U.S. Under Secretary of Education Ted Mitchell will have a “fireside chat” with Pamela Tate, CEO and president of the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) during the CAEL’s annual conference in Baltimore, Md. at 1:10 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Nov. 18. They will discuss current higher education policies as they relate to adult learners.

This year’s CAEL’s conference theme is “Where to Grow from Here: Scaling What Works for Adult Students,” and raising the question: “How do we grow our education systems to effectively reach greater numbers of adult learners?” The annual event brings together over 500 participants to learn, network, and work together to make lifelong learning accessible to adults around the world.
