U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will address the Georgetown Public Policy Institute 2013 Awards Ceremony Friday in Washington, D.C. The ceremony is one of several events being held this week as part of Commencement 2013 at Georgetown University.
Secretary Duncan will deliver the GPPI "Tropaia Address" to approximately 168 recipients of Master of Public Policy and Master of Policy Management degrees. He will recognize specific accomplishments and students from the Class of 2013, and he will share his views on the traits of effective policy makers.
