U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will address the annual conference of the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) Thursday in Baltimore, followed by a Q&A led by NAESP Executive Director Gail Connelly. Duncan will discuss the importance of school leadership and the need to provide high-quality early learning opportunities for all students to ensure that they enter kindergarten ready to learn so that teachers will be able to support and teach them from the start – instead of playing catch-up.
