U.S. Education Department Senior Official to Discuss Ways to Provide Pre-K Education to Families During Panel Discussion in San Antonio

U.S. Department of Education Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy and Early Learning Libby Doggett will discuss providing pre-K education to families during a panel discussion titled “Making Pre-K Work: Opportunities and Challenges” on Wednesday, March 9 in San Antonio, Texas. The conversation will focus on the importance of pre-K education, the best way to provide such instruction to diverse families, and the impact of San Antonio’s pre-K program with state and national implications.

The panel is part of Early Childhood Education: The San Antonio Experience – An Atlantic Next America Forum, sponsored by AtlanticLive. The forum will bring together educators and policy makers to discuss the impact of the city's pre-kindergarten initiative.
