U.S. Deputy Secretary of Education Tony Miller will deliver keynote remarks at the Institute for a Competitive Workforce (ICW) forum on Monday, May 16 at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. In his remarks, Miller will talk about innovation, entrepreneurship and higher education reform. He will be joined by former Education Secretary Margaret Spellings, who will provide opening remarks and currently serves as president of the U.S. Forum for Policy Innovation at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
The forum, entitled "Degrees of Change: Private Sector Innovations Transforming Higher Education," will highlight how private sector innovations are helping to increase productivity in higher education. In addition, forum participants will discuss a full-scale report by the ICW, highlighting some of the most impactful innovations and contributions to higher education.
