U.S. Education Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Office of Innovation and Improvement Jim Shelton will give keynote remarks at the 2011 Stanford Business of Education Symposium: Innovation in Education on Wednesday, April 6 at Stanford University. Shelton, an alumnus of the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Stanford School of Education, will talk to students, industry leaders and community leaders about the role education innovation plays in business and government. The symposium will aim to build relationships between business and education leaders as well as provide a forum for debating ideas, renewing inspiration, and discovering opportunities for collaboration in education.
