Carl Harris, deputy assistant secretary for policy and state technical assistance at the U.S. Department of Education will deliver remarks at the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation sponsored by the American Association of School Administrators (AASA) and the North Carolina Association of School Administrators (NCASA) on Friday, Oct. 29 in Raleigh, N.C. Dr. Harris will discuss education reform and the Department’s focus on supporting school turnaround efforts across the country.
The mission of the Friday Institute is to advance education through innovation in teaching, learning and leadership. The Friday Institute brings together students, teachers, researchers, policy-makers, educational professionals and other community members so they can work together to improve education.
