Senior U.S. Education Official Michael Yudin to Deliver Opening Remarks at Office of Special Education Programs Annual Project Directors’ Conference

Acting Assistant Secretary Michael Yudin will deliver opening remarks at the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP)project directors' conference on Monday, July 15 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. Yudin will share information about the administration’s priorities and his vision for achieving inclusion, equity and opportunity for children and youth with disabilities.

The conference brings together OSEP-funded projects to explore issues regarding preparation, research, technical assistance, technology, and policy and their implications for improving results for children with disabilities. The conference will address current issues and concerns in the field, share information and knowledge across projects, and provide an opportunity for project directors and staff to network and form alliances.

Yudin heads the Education Department's Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, which includes programs aimed at improving results and outcomes for the nation's infants, toddlers, children and adults with disabilities.
