Michael Robbins, senior advisor for nonprofit partnerships at the U.S. Department of Education, will give closing remarks at the Grad Nation Community Forum on Wednesday, Nov. 13 in Atlanta. He will discuss school, community, and family partnerships to propel student engagement and learning, and the role of digital learning in those partnerships.

Robbins has more than 20 years of experience in education and youth development as a social entrepreneur and cross-sector leader. Before joining the Obama Administration, he served at The SEED Foundation, where he was instrumental in founding The SEED School of Maryland, a public urban college-prep boarding school for disadvantaged students.

Grad Nation is a large and growing movement of dedicated individuals, organizations and communities working together to end America's dropout crisis. Grad Nation’s goals include achieving a 90 percent graduation rate nationwide by 2020, with no high school graduating less than 80 percent of its students, and regaining America's standing as first in the world in college completion.
