Juan Sepulveda, executive director of the White House Initiative on Excellence in Education for Hispanic Americans, will participate on the panel “Building the Pipeline” during the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility’s annual symposium in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, May 3, at 9:15 a.m. Sepulveda will discuss how education is the pathway to the American dream for the Hispanic community and for keeping the U.S. competitive in the global economy. He will also highlight the Obama administration’s efforts to increase Latino students’ access to a quality education as well as their rates of educational attainment. Now in its 25th year, the Hispanic Association of Corporate Responsibility is an umbrella organization that advocates for advancing the inclusion of Hispanics in corporate America.
The initiative recently released, “Winning the Future: Improving Education for the Latino Community.”
