Brenda Girton-Mitchell, director of the Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, will give remarks at Rep. Donna Edwards' "2nd Annual Nonprofit Forum: Build It! Grow It! Fund It! Sustain It!" at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 16, in Silver Spring, Md. The forum is an all-day event that features more than 20 training sessions offered by foundations, several federal government agencies, and representatives of nonprofit organizations. Girton-Mitchell will discuss strategies for building successful coalitions and partnerships.
