U.S. Secretary of Education John B. King Jr. will deliver remarks at the IBM World of Watson 2016 conference at 1 p.m. PT on Wednesday, Oct. 26, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

King will take part in a one-on-one conversation with Chairman, President and CEO of IBM Ginni Rometty about the role of private sector to support educational outcomes.

The conference brings together over 20,000 architects, data scientists, developers, engineers, inventors, CEOs and business leaders, to discuss the technologies and strategies of the future.

Over the next decade, the share of jobs requiring some level of higher education is expected to grow more rapidly than those that do not, with 11 of the 15 fastest-growing occupations requiring a postsecondary education. That is why the Obama Administration has worked to ensure that all students have access to a high-quality, affordable higher education or credential that offers a clear path to economic security and success.
