U.S. Secretary Arne Duncan will speak at the Tennessee Educational Leadership Conference (LEAD) on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Duncan will highlight the progress in Tennessee and the importance of strong school leadership in the transition to new standards and assessments to make sure all students are prepared for college and careers.
The conference will give educators from across the state an opportunity to share and discuss with each other, effective programs and practices being used in Tennessee schools to maximize student success throughout this academic year.
