U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will join Attorney General Eric Holder and Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights Catherine E. Lhamon at J.O. Wilson Elementary School in Washington, D.C. to announce the findings of expansive survey of America's public schools and discuss the importance of universal access to preschool, the need to reduce unnecessary and unfair school discipline practices, and address other barriers to opportunity for students that may prevent them from reaching their full potential at all levels of education.
