The commission is a component of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics, which addresses critical education challenges such as improving high quality early learning programs for Hispanic children, dramatically increasing the number of Hispanic high school graduates and ensuring more Hispanics students enroll in and complete college.
