Juan Sepulveda, executive director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics, will deliver the keynote address at the commencement exercises of the University of Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education at 3:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday, July 9, in Notre Dame, Ind.
Sepulveda will congratulate the 106 graduates of ACE’s Service through Teaching and Mary Ann Remick Leadership Program, graduate programs in education that focus on teaching in under-resourced Catholic schools and becoming administrators of Catholic schools. His remarks will highlight the issues behind Latino degree completion and discuss the Obama administration’s initiative to raise educational attainment for all Americans and keep our workforce competitive.
