Alejandra Ceja, executive director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics, will participate in the Montgomery Community Television/Montgomery Community Media's inaugural Latino Leadership Conference on Monday, Dec. 9, in Rockville, Md. She will give remarks during a panel titled "Education and Its Impact on Our Future." Given the growing Latino population, Ceja will highlight the need for more Hispanic students to be college and career ready in order to succeed and drive the nation's economy. She'll also discuss the Administration's higher education priorities, including college costs and affordability, the College Scorecard and the Financial Aid Shopping Sheet.
