U.S. Under Secretary of Education Martha Kanter will deliver the opening address and highlight the Administration’s efforts to boost college attainment and completion at an event focusing on the future of higher education. Arizona State University is hosting the forum, titled “College Choice and the Global Race to Out-Innovate, Out-Perform and Out-Build,” at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, at the Newseum in Washington, D.C.
After Kanter’s opening remarks, the event will transition to a panel of college admissions officials that will be moderated by ASU President Michael Crow. Discussions will focus on how high school and college educators can better collaborate to help students succeed and what students need to do to prepare for college and their careers.
