U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will speak to more than 200 young national leaders at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 3, at the Young Elected Officials (YEO) Network’s sixth annual conference at the Washington Court Hotel in Washington, D.C. The YEO Network, a program of People For the American Way Foundation, represents a group of leaders ages 35 and younger who are dedicated to changing the status quo and advocating on progressive economic and social issues. Members include mayors, state legislators, city commissioners and aldermen from across the United States.
