Director of the Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships at the U.S. Department of Education to Speak at Wilberforce University’s Commencement Ceremony

The Rev. Brenda Girton-Mitchell, director of the Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships at the U.S. Department of Education, will deliver the baccalaureate address at Wilberforce University’s commencement. The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, May 7, and take place in the University’s Alumni Multiplex.

Girton-Mitchell will congratulate 132 graduates at the service and will celebrate the families that have supported them through their postsecondary education. Remarks will highlight motivational words of wisdom acquired from her own life experiences as well as insights from other successful individuals who have made a positive difference in their respective communities.
