Deputy Assistant Secretary for Elementary and Secondary Education Jonathan Brice will participate in a panel discussion on federal efforts to address youth homelessness at 10:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday, July 29, in Washington, D.C. The panel is titled, “Innovative Collaboration in Strengthening Models to End Youth Homelessness.” Brice will highlight the Department’s continuous work with states and districts to disseminate information – via webinars, presentations, and panels with national advocacy groups — that improves identification and support of homeless and unstably housed youth.
Sponsored by the National Network for Youth, the panel is part of the Youth Homelessness Preconference of the National Alliance to End Homelessness conference being held from July 29-31. Joining Brice on the panel will be representatives from the Departments of Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Labor, and the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness.
