Department Senior Official to Discuss National Educational Technology Plan At National School board Association’s Technology and Learning Conference

The U.S. Department of Education's Karen Cator will discuss the National Educational Technology Plan and how technology is shaping the future of education in America during the National School Board Association’s (NSBA) Technology and Learning Conference Wednesday, Oct. 20 in Phoenix, Ariz. Cator will give a presentation entitled “Transforming American Education: Learning Powered by Technology.”

NSBA’s four-day conference will include more than 50 workshops sharing best practices and innovating strategies, including: digital content, educational technology policy and advocacy, international perspectives, creating and supporting learning environments, professional development communities and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) initiatives.
