Civil Rights Assistant Secretary to Address National Pan-Hellenic Council Community Leaders Empowerment Summit in D.C.

Russlynn Ali, assistant secretary for the Office for Civil Rights, will address the National Pan-Hellenic Council Community Leaders Empowerment Summit Saturday in Washington, D.C. Ali will discuss her office's work in tackling the achievement gap among minority students and promoting educational excellence through vigorous enforcement of civil rights.

The National Pan-Hellenic Council represents nine international Greek letter sororities and fraternities including: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
