Eduardo Ochoa, assistant secretary for postsecondary education, will address the College of William & Mary at 4 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, at the school’s Department of Education. Ochoa’s remarks will focus on the role of higher education as a catalyst for public diplomacy and fostering global partnerships.

The event launches the school’s India Academic Partnership Initiative and brings together students, faculty, administrators, members of the local community, and a visiting delegation from Indian universities. In November 2010 Ochoa traveled with representatives from William & Mary and ten other higher education institutions to foster academic partnerships between the two nations.
