Acting Under Secretary Jamienne Studley will discuss President Obama’s proposal to develop a college rating system that informs students and encourages institutions to improve and innovate at a panel being held on Thursday, March 20, at 7:30 p.m. in New York City.
Sponsored by Oberlin College and moderated by Oberlin President Marvin Krislov, the panel is entitled, "Is a Liberal Arts Degree Still Worth It?" Other panelists include Sandy Baum, professor at George Washington University and senior fellow, Urban Institute; Richard Colvin, visiting fellow at the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation; and, Eugene Tobin of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
