Acting Director of Educational Technology Richard Culatta to Discuss President's Connected Initiative During Keynote at SchoolCIO Leadership Summit

Richard Culatta, acting director of the Office of Educational Technology, will deliver the opening keynote address at the SchoolCIO Leadership Summit on Saturday, June 22 in San Antonio, Texas. During his remarks, he will discuss the future of educational data and President Obama’s ConnectED Initiative to close the broadband gap in the nation’s schools. A question and answer session will follow his remarks.

The summit, held twice a year, is designed to help school CIOs leverage school technology to transform learning in the classroom and online. Speakers and discussions focus on K-12 leadership for tomorrow's schools and the impact of emerging technologies such as mobile and cloud computing, immersive and virtual environments.
